Search in Voyager

Actual desktop captures, with held crops for readability. The source image and native timer are enlarged from the same screenshot. Processing waits are omitted; the ending shows excerpts from the rough cut.

A reusable prompt

Search this footage folder for a floating water droplet in front of an astronaut.
Use visual search for the shot and speech search for an explanation of capillary action.
Return filenames, source in/out times and evidence.
Inspect the surrounding moment before choosing it. Keep the originals unchanged.

See prompts.md for the follow-up. These are concise adaptations of the production requests.

Make it your edit

The editable file is cut.json. Change the source trims, then rebuild the MP4 with render.py.

python3 download-sources.py
python3 render.py cut.json my-cut.mp4

Requires Python 3 and FFmpeg. Downloading the original NASA recordings needs an internet connection; these two included previews play offline. The script checks source hashes and preserves the originals.
